For a deposit or final balance, open the Square invoice Max sent you and choose Pay Invoice. Your personal invoice shows the amount due and keeps your payments together.
Most jobs: pay afterward.
Max completes the agreed work, confirms any approved expenses and then sends your final Square invoice.
Larger jobs: 50% deposit.
Max confirms the scope and price first. Your Square invoice then shows the agreed deposit and the remaining balance, due after completion.

Monthly memberships.
After you and Max agree on your plan and start date, Square handles the monthly invoice. You can authorize automatic card payments through Square.
Max asked me to pay an agreed amount directly
Use this option only when Max has directed you to the general payment link. Invoice deposits, final balances and gift-card payments should be paid through your personal Square invoice.
